Who are we?

I was born into a Entreprenurial family with many generations of importers.
My dad was a serial entrepreneur and imported fabrics from Italy.
He owned a Clothing Factory, Bakery, Sugar Factory, Chicken Farm, and several Retail stores.

In 1984 I was seven years old and learned about Commercial Real Estate and Retail working after school, weekends, and summers at my dad’s Mardi Gras Mask Shop in one of the most iconic buildings in the New Orleans French Quarter. The Feather Mask Shop is still open and located on Royal Street next to the New Orleans Cathedral.
If you google New Orleans French Quarter it is usually the first picture that will show up.

In 1992 I was 15 years old and invested $1,500 in AOL stock that turned into $60,000 when I was 16 years old.
I started my wholesale furniture store at age 16 while finishing high school.

In 1994 I was 17 years old and started wholesaling furniture at the New Orleans Convention Center at show’s called the Helen Brett Show, sold to retail furniture stores across the country with shows in Orlando, NC, and even the wholesale Norton Show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.

In 1999 I was 22 years old and rented my first retail store in New Orleans

I began importing furniture containers directly from factories

February 20th 2001 I was 24 years old and purchased a 14,000 sq ft warehouse in New Orleans with the help of my uncle who mentored me.

2003 I was 26 years old and rented five retail stores in New Orleans and Baton Rouge

In 2005 I was 28 years old and featured in a Furniture Today Magazine featuring young furniture entrepreneurs across the country

In 2005 I also started investing in Commercial Real Estate and purchased a 9,000 sq ft retail store in New Orleans

In 2010 I was 33 years old and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee across West Town Mall at the old Boater’s World:

In 2011 I changed the company name to “Raging River Imports”

In 2017 I was 40 years old and purchased a 15,000 Sq ft building in Downtown Lenoir City TN. We have moved our showroom into the old insurance office and are open by appointment!

In 2022 I was 45 years old and purchased a second 15,000 sq ft building in Downtown Lenoir City. I have spent the last 3 years renovating this new building and rent to several tenants including a Tranquility Spa, Social Cycle Bike Shop, Yoga Studio, a New Martial Arts Studio and Bungee Fitness. I use a portion of this building to sell furniture.
